Why Western Springs District 101?

In D101, we believe in setting the highest of expectations for our students academically, socially and emotionally — to comprehensively prepare students to embody the D101 Elements of Student Ownership, ready for their next level of learning anywhere. Ensuring our staff have the resources and necessary support to do their best work, each and every day, is also fundamental to nurturing the thriving culture necessary for our students' success. We work together to Engage. Inspire. and Empower. each of our students.

Western Springs School District 101 serves the majority of the Western Springs community. We have three Elementary Schools (K-5) and one Junior High (6-8) that serve approximately 1,400 students.

We value:

  • Academics: Growth and Achievement

  • Instructional Approaches that Promote Student Ownership

  • A Positive, Engaging, & Safe Environment for All

  • Recruiting & Developing Talented Staff

Our three elementary schools and one junior high need YOUR help! With our phenomenal students in our community, working in D101 is a highly fulfilling, lovely way to connect with and support our schools and all of our children.
