I am thrilled to welcome your student and your family to Laidlaw Elementary School. This is truly a special place for children to learn, grow, and flourish. Our talented & dedicated teaching staff coupled with our supportive families make Laidlaw an exemplary environment for students to thrive. The 2022-23 school year offers us all a positive opportunity to once again embrace the beloved educational experiences that we all want for our children. Our theme for this year is "The Laidlaw Way." This theme will serve as an umbrella for some of our school and district wide focuses this year. The Laidlaw Way is to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Across D101 as a whole, we are highly focused on three areas of student development: Academic Achievement, Academic Growth, and Learning Environment. It is with these attributes at the forefront that we put goals and measurements in place to ensure that all students at Laidlaw are meeting and exceeding our targets.
